Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing piping/structure systems for oil and gas facilities. Proficiency in ASME codes and standards is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop piping and structural systems for oil and gas facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver innovative design solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential design challenges and propose mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Provide technical support during the construction and installation phases, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing piping/structure systems for oil and gas facilities.
- Strong knowledge of ASME codes and standards.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other engineering design tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
