Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager of Project Controls to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and possess a minimum of 5 years of experience coordinating and managing various aspects of turn-key projects. This includes coordination with project sites, head office, subcontractors, and manufacturing facilities. The candidate should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to integrate the efforts of different engineering and execution teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage different aspects of turn-key projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Liaise between project sites, head office, subcontractors, and manufacturing facilities to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement project controls processes and procedures to monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and action plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience coordinating and managing various aspects of turn-key projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Ability to integrate the efforts of different engineering and execution teams effectively.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
