Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant or possess relevant accounting qualifications with prior experience in article ships within a CA firm. With at least 6 years of overall experience, including a minimum of 4 years of article experience, the Financial Controller will play a key role in overseeing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts on a regular basis.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making processes at the executive level.
Qualifications:
- Preferably a Chartered Accountant or possess relevant accounting qualifications.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance, with at least 4 years of article experience in a CA firm.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
